Census and Population Change-Impact on Planning, Land Use and the Environment Conference

This TWRI Policy and Research Conference was held at St William’s College, York on Friday 18th October 2013, 10.00 a.m – 4.30 p.m.

The Conference was chaired by Professor Alan Townsend (MRTPI, FeRSA).  It focused on demographic change and its implications for planning, land use and the environment. The Conference featured presentations from the Office of National Statistics (ONS), government departments and agencies, local authorities, utilities, academics and TWRI Policy and Research.

The Conference gave attendees an opportunity to engage with presenters, exhibitors and other delegates.

The conference was aimed at government departments and agencies, local authorities, utilities, academics, practitioners and policy makers in housing, planning, regeneration, environment and climate change across the public and private sectors.
