TWRI produces regular reports providing information about the local economy.  These include employment estimates, small area unemployment statistics and general economic background data.  Job gains and losses (from the press) are recorded in an interrogable information system.  Other indicators include earnings data, VAT registrations and economic performance (ABI) data.  TWRI relates the local economic picture to equivalent North East and national figures.
